Golf

Welcome to Golf at the Trident Hotel. Kinsale is ideally situated to enjoy the wide selection of superb links and parkland courses in the southwest of Ireland, one of the most beautiful places in the world to play golf.

We have three challenging golf courses in Kinsale:-

The world famous Old Head Golf Links is one of the most visited golf clubs in Ireland and enjoys a stunning location perched above the Atlantic Ocean.
Kinsale Golf Club is our local golf club. An interesting course, set in the meadowlands of the Bandon River Valley just 3 miles from the Trident Hotel.
Kinsale Golf Club also offers a 2nd course - Ringenane. A beautifully located 9 hole course sloping down to the river banks on a small circular peninsular, just 1 mile from Kinsale.

Restaurant

The Pier One Restaurant is located on the first floor and has some of the best views over Kinsale Harbour. Renowned for it's fresh local seafood and interesting menus Pier One is a popular choice with locals and residents alike.

Bar

The Wharf Tavern offers the charm & character of a traditional Irish pub, as popular with locals as it is with hotel guests. With the added bonus of a spectacular location right on the water's edge!

The bar has a nautical feel - designed by local yacht designer, Rob Jacob, to resemble elements of an old sailing ship, it is complete with portholes, decking, vaulted panel & beam ceiling and rope-wound galleon masts. The effect is a wonderfully unique and cosy bar.

Outside the wharf is a sheltered terrace ideal for enjoying 'al-Fresco' drinks & dining year round. One of the few pubs in Kinsale offering outdoor dining… and with a sea view as an added bonus!
